Colombia gave an outstanding performance in the Junior World Track Cycling Championships which was held at the national velodrome Sylvan Adams from Tel Aviv in Israel.
The national delegation closed its performance with two silver medals in the tests of the Keirin and speed, both in the men’s branch.

To the medal won last August 24 by Francisco Jaramillo Camacho in Keirin joined the one achieved this Saturday the 27th of the same month by Jhojan Stiven Marín.
Marín, who made his first appearance in the uniform of the Colombian National Team, made an intelligent race by staying away from the elimination positions until only three runners remained on the track to define the places on the podium.

In the last lap of the test, the Colombian disputed the gold medal with the Slovenian Zak Erzen, who had a greater momentum in the auction to stay in first place and relegate Valle del Cauca to second place. The bronze medal went to Matyas Koblizek from the Czech Republic.
