The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc), issued a warning of prevention and surveillance for rains and storms from August 26 to 29 due to the entry into the country of Tropical Wave #30, in the next 24 hours.
The entity specified that all provinces and regions, and both maritime sectors of the country, are kept under notice due to moderate to very heavy rains, accompanied by electrical activity, according to the Hydrometeorology Directorate of the Electricity Transmission Company (Etesa).
Tropical Wave #30 will bring rainy events and significant storms over the national territory, and the possibility of gusts of wind is not ruled out. Added to this, there is a trough moving from Venezuela and Puerto Rico towards our region, generating an area of disturbance over the Caribbean Sea and large areas with rain and storms in South America.
