Maduro calls on the population to participate in the PSUV assemblies

The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, summoned the entire Venezuelan population this Friday night to participate in the assemblies that will take place this Saturday, to elect the heads of the more than 46,000 communities in the country.

In a message posted on your social network account Twitterthe president of the red awning invited to this process, which will begin at two in the afternoon, “independents, activists, militants, even those who were once in opposition.”

«To you friend, friend, independent, activist, militant, even to those who were once an opponent, participate in the more than 45 thousand communities, vote in the election of community leaders. Organize, unite and add to succeed! It is our path,” Maduro wrote on the social network.

In the audio published on his Twitter account, Maduro described as “extraordinary” the day held last weekend, to elect the street bosses, for which he reiterated the call to all to participate in the elections of this Saturday.

Last weekend, more than 260,000 assemblies were held throughout the country to elect street bosses.

After these processes, it is expected that on September 3, the election of 14,381 Bolívar-Chávez Battle Units (UBCH) will take place.
