They confirm that the special prosecutor delivered Zerón’s file to Israel

The head of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for the Iguala Case, Omar Gómez Trejo, traveled to Israel and, together with other officials from the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), delivered all the documentation that accredits the probable participation of Tomás Zerón de Lucio, former head of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), in the crimes of torture, forced disappearance and obstruction of the administration of justice, in the disappearance of 43 normalistas from Ayotzinapa.

Federal officials confirmed that Gómez Trejo traveled to that country in the company of his main agents from the Public Ministry, although they did not specify whether he went to try to maintain negotiations with Zerón de Lucio – a fugitive from Mexican justice – so that he receives the legal benefits if it collaborates in clarifying the whereabouts of the students.
