Covid-19: Brazil registers 3,800 new cases and 32 deaths in 24 hours

Brazil registered 32 new deaths by covid-19 in the 24 hours between Friday (24) and yesterday (25). According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, until this Saturday night (25), the total number of deaths in the pandemic reached 618,424.Covid-19: Brazil registers 3,800 new cases and 32 deaths in 24 hours

The number of people who contracted the disease since the beginning of the health crisis rose to 22,234,626, with the record of 3,889 new cases. The number of people who have recovered from covid-19 is 21,537,535.

There are still 78,667 cases in follow-up. The name is given to people whose health condition is observed by health teams and who can progress to different conditions, including serious ones.

In the bulletin for Saturday (25), 14 states and the Federal District did not present updated data: Bahia (number of cases), Santa Catarina, Ceará, Goiás, Rondônia, Sergipe, Alagoas, Amapá, Acre (number of deaths), Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso, Tocantins and Roraima (number of cases and deaths).

Accumulated by state

São Paulo is the state that registers the most deaths by covid-19 (155.096), followed by Rio de Janeiro (69,404), Minas Gerais (56,613), Paraná (40,877) and Rio Grande do Sul (36,409). The states where there were fewer deaths from the disease are: Acre (1,850), Amapá (2015), Roraima (2,074), Tocantins (3,927) and Sergipe (6,056).
