Colombia reported 43 new deaths from covid-19. Of these, 35 occurred on days other than this Saturday, December 25.

The total number of deaths in the country due to the virus amounted to 129,729, while 5,396,013 have died worldwide.
Regarding new infections, 3,414 were registered after analyzing 27,310 samples (15,930 for PCR and 11,380 for antigens).

With a cut to this Saturday, in the last year and nine months there have been 5,121,668 covid infections in Colombia. Of these, 4,957,334 have recovered and 16,203 are still active.
In addition, a total of 29,255,860 tests have been processed.
The areas of the country with the most historical cases are: Bogotá (1,473,535), Antioquia (782,270), Valle del Cauca (422,919), Atlántico (342,246) and Cundinamarca (267,312).
And in the world, 279’394,571 infections have accumulated.

As of December 23, 67,668,582 doses of covid vaccines have been distributed in the country, of which 63,638,880 have been applied. What’s more, the number of people with a complete vaccination scheme is 27,816,476 and the reinforcements applied, 2,965,324.
