The case of Rodriguez Simón "shows that the macrista judicial table is still in force"

Rodríguez Simón has been a fugitive from Argentine Justice for more than 600 days in Uruguay.

The vice president of Parlasur for Argentina, Cecilia Britto (Frente de Todos), considered this Friday that the case of Cambiemos advisor, Fabián ‘Pepín’ Rodríguez Simón, who is a fugitive from justice in Uruguay, “demonstrates that the macrista judicial table is still in force and was never disarmed”.

“It is embarrassing that he continues to justify being a fugitive from the Justice of his country that he claims to represent in Parlasur. It’s almost a joke and the only thing he wants is to buy time, “said Britto in dialogue with Télam.

On Thursday, the former Cambiemos official and Parlasur legislator justified the more than 600 days he spent as a fugitive in Uruguay and explained why he does not submit to the Argentine Justicewhere he is being investigated for extortion and harassment of Grupo Indalo shareholders.

“It is embarrassing that he continues to justify being a fugitive from the Justice of his country that he claims to represent in Parlasur. It’s almost a mockery and the only thing he wants is to buy time ”Cecilia Britto

“I have the right, that if I consider that this accusation is political, to ask for international protection,” said the judicial operator of the macrismo in statements to Radio Perfil, who in the last hours was pointed out by Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner as the only fugitive Argentine political leader.

For Britto – new vice president of the body from Argentina – Pepín “wants to buy time, although he accumulates rejections by the Uruguayan Justice”.

In this sense, the legislator defined that “the macrista judicial table was never disarmed and this is the sample that is still in force” because “continues operating from Uruguay”.

The dismissal of the deputy of the Parlasur of Together for Change (JxC) is in commission of the organization and the second instance ruling of the Uruguayan criminal justice was incorporated where it says that he does not have the conditions for asylum because “there is no political persecution”.

Britto met this week with the chancellor santiago cafierotogether with the head of the country’s delegation, the parliamentarian from Corrientes Alejandro Karlen.

During the meeting, Cafiero renewed his commitment to the supranational organization and outlined the guidelines for the management of the Argentine representation in the coming months.

On the occasion, the official and legislators analyzed the situation in the region and defined activities to be carried out in conjunction with ECLAC (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean) and Eurolat (European Latin American Permanent Assembly).
