Two minors, ages 2 and 5, died after the house where they lived caught fire, located in the 1° de Mayo neighborhood, staircase 7, El Cementerio, adjacent to the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) module, according to police sources.
The fire occurred this Thursday morning, specifically in the main bedroom where the children were.
Neighbors reported the incident and a commission from the Caracas Fire Department went to the site where 18 troops fought and extinguished the flames to prevent their spread.
Firefighters arrived at the scene with a multipurpose unit and a tanker, among other logistical support.
