Madrid Spain.- From October 24 to 28, Havana will host the IV Tourist Exchange Destinations Gaviota 2022, an international event to showcase the new hotels and excursions run by Gaviota SA, the military company that leads tourism in Cuba.
During the meeting, in which tour operators, travel agents, retail agencies and hoteliers will participate, Cuban culture, nature and gastronomy will also be promoted.
“It is an opportunity to demonstrate that Gaviota is committed to an excellent service, always hand in hand with companies such as Gaviota Tour, Transgaviota, Marinas Gaviota and AT Comercial that guarantee the success of the tourist operation,” said the entity in a release issued through its website.
Registrations to participate in the IV Tourist Exchange will be opened on said website weeks in advance, highlights the informative note.
“The previous editions of Destinos Gaviota, demonstrated their worth as that indispensable space to promote Cuba, its gastronomy, the uniqueness of its cities and its nature,” adds the information.
With respect to previous editiondeveloped from December 7 to 12, 2021 in Cayo Santa María, Gaviota SA specified that more than 600 professionals from the sector from 33 countries participated, mainly from Canada, Spain, Russia, Mexico and Germany.
The Gaviota Tourism Group is one of the Cuban state entities included in the Black List of the United States. He is the owner and shareholder of hundreds of tourist facilities on the Island, including several of the most luxurious hotels, such as the Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski, Iberostar Grand Hotel Packard, Meliá Marina Varadero and Meliá Cayo Santa María.
