The Christmas dates always tend to leave moments of great solidarity on the part of some athletes. The last to show that more supportive face was Egan bernal. The 24-year-old Colombian returned to his country after a preseason concentration in Spain and went to his native Zipaquirá to spend Christmas with his family. Before the celebrations, On Christmas Eve afternoon, Egan toured the ‘Bolívar 83’ neighborhood, where he grew up, along with his mother, brother and some friends. Together they gave approximately 800 toys to the children of the neighborhood.
“It is a beautiful tradition to give some toys to the children of the neighborhood I grew up in. Returning to this neighborhood to give happiness to these children warms my heart. It’s not something I’m doing to get attention. It’s something I’m happy to do because I’m emotionally attached to this neighborhood“, said the cyclist on Instagram.
