The criminal organization founded by Jesús Rafael Estévez (El Zorrito) is putting together a great alliance between criminal groups that operate in Anzoátegui, according to intelligence reports. Said plan was detected and for this reason the Ministry of Internal Relations launched operation Thunder III last week to locate and capture these criminals.
The El Zorrito gang already has proven connections with the two negative leaders of the José Antonio Anzoátegui Judicial Confinement Center located in Puente Ayala, Barcelona, a source assured. That as part of their plans to enter other criminal phases.
Specifically, El Zorrito has frequent contacts with Yunior Yeguez, alias Pata e’ Queso and El Largo, negative leaders of the Puente Ayala prison. Those two pranes provide Zorrito with all the investigation and preparation of potential extortion victims. That is to say, they make lists of these victims and call them from the prison “so that they collaborate.” Then, the partners of the Zorrito are in charge of visiting the victim to collect “the collaborations”, explained the source.
The victims filed from Puente Ayala have business between Barcelona and Anaco.

The Tren del Llano is the other criminal organization with which El Zorrito has initiated a rapprochement. In fact, last week there would be a meeting between the leaders of both criminal groups, which was frustrated because it coincided with the start of Operation Thunder III, in which agents from the Cicpc, the Bolivarian National Police and the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service participated.
On that occasion they detained seven and killed three, one of them Miguel Eduardo Tovar, right hand of the fox.
From the purely extortive action, the Zorrito organization jumped to the execution of actions that fit into what the intelligence agencies call “destabilizing maneuvers.” This change in pattern began on July 10 with the attack on the police unit located in the capital of Anzoatiguense, El Viñedo sector, where a uniformed officer died, two were kidnapped and one was injured. Apparently the criminals wanted to take the weapons park.
Precisely, for his new plans, El Zorrito needs high-caliber weapons, bullets and explosive devices, according to the monitoring carried out by intelligence agencies.
And just two days ago, one of those who provides weapons to the band del Zorrito, was killed during a confrontation in the El Hatico sector of Barcelona. The subject is identified as Giomar Alexander Rivas (El Mariano).
The Cicpc in its report confirms that “said subject maintained active relations in terms of logistics (weapons and ammunition) with the negative leader of the structured organized crime group El Zorrito.”
The police commission collected a rifle with two chargers, a grenade and two fuses at the site, reported the Cicpc.
Operation Thunder III continues its deployment in Barcelona and other cities to capture Zorrito and his associates, who present multiple judicial requests for various crimes. “We are doing well,” replied a police chief from Anzoatiguenses lands.
