In the case of López Hernández and Rocha Moya, the plenary session of the Specialized Regional Chamber considered, after resolving the complaints that the PAN, PRI and PRD presented separately, that both public officials favored the elected president of Hidalgo, Menchaca, from Morena, by attending to an event in that entity on May 21.
They even concluded that Julio Menchaca also benefited from his participation or undue influence on the electorate.
According to the TEPJF, “the indirect responsibility for the candidate and for the Morena, Labor and New Alliance parties was accredited, since they obtained a benefit that consists of obtaining citizen support with the support of two public servants.”
Regarding Sheinbaum and Ebrard, the magistrates considered that in both cases, it was not possible to prove that they requested the vote in their favor or against some other candidacy or political force.
Nor that they have presented any electoral platform or that third parties have favored them with some expression of support for the 2023-2024 electoral process.
