The lawyer and international political analyst, Pedro Sittón, echoed this Thursday, the statements of the presiding magistrate of the Electoral Court (TE), Heriberto Araúz before the Budget Commission of the National Assembly, who stated that “who does not have money that don’t go into politics.”
According to Sittón, Araúz’s words were not opportune in the place where he said them. At the same time, he added that it is no secret to anyone that an electoral campaign costs.
“What turned out is that the magistrate made a mistake, a slip and said something that we all think, but very few say,” he said.
He commented that what is observed in social networks and real life is that there are candidates who believe they are popular and have enough leadership to run a campaign with zero budget.
He stressed that a planned political strategy is required in order to reach his goal, which is to win elections. “No one goes into an election to lose or learn,” she said.
