Diosdado Cabello says that the protests over the payment of the full vacation bonus were a “fair claim”, but he defends the work of the Executive in labor matters. The deputy asserted that the Government has not thought at any time of reducing public administration to prevent unemployed people. He noted that the inclusion of the remaining 30% of workers from basic companies to their positions is expected by December, despite claims of non-compliance with rehiring
The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), God given hair, was present at a mobilization in Bolívar this Thursday, August 25, to support the management of President Nicolás Maduro. From there, he asserted that the head of state “is not going to fall for them” because he will always speak the truth about whether or not there are resources in the country.
“I’m witness. Every time there is a meeting of the political high command, he has an initiative for the workers, to improve the quality of life of the workers in the situation of not having the resources. What they will never get is Nicolás Maduro falling for the workers. He is always going to tell them what is going on,” he said.
Cabello asserted that the government has not thought at any time of reducing the size of the public administration, because that would mean sending the workers home without money to support the family. For this reason, he criticized the opposition’s argument about the need to reduce public spending and invest it in goods and services.
For several weeks, workers from the education, health and public sector unions have come out to protest for better salary claims and the repeal of the instructions of the National Budget Office (Onapre), which pulverizes their income along with inflation. .

The straw that broke the camel’s back was the announcement of the three-part payment of the vocational bonus. This intensified the protests in the street so much that the Central Bolivariana Socialista de Trabajadores went out to “protest” only for the payment of that benefit, which was achieved even though the State only recognized this sector of unions and not the entire conglomerate.
The demonstrations against the instructions continue despite the pronouncement of the Supreme Court of Justice, in a ruling by the Political-Administrative Chamber, where it says that the document is “non-existent” and therefore cannot be repealed.
On the other hand, the first vice president of the PSUV stated that the remaining 30% of workers from basic companies who are still out of work are expected to be included by December, after the gradual incorporation of more than 30,000 workers.
This is in response to the claims of unions for the figure of “not required”, which keeps the employees of these companies without all the benefits that correspond to collective bargaining. Only in CVG Bauxilummore than 400 people are in this situation.
Diosdado Cabello stressed that “those who promoted sanctions and blockades” began to demonstrate alongside the workers to try to “manipulate the situation.” In the same way, he recognized as a “just claim” the demands of the unions to be paid the full vacation bonus.

In that sense, he said that Maduro taught the “dinosaurs of politics” a lesson by ordering “the pending payment of everything that had to be paid.”
He accused that there was a “plan” to “turn off the Guri” and harm the country, but pointed out that thanks to the workers it was not possible to carry out that initiative, which in his opinion belongs to the opposition.
