The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, pointed out that “everyone in the world” will be able to participate in the next process of electing the heads of the community of the red awning.
The maximum chief of the red awning highlighted the participation registered in the last election of the promoters and insisted on the importance of promoting the participation of the entire community in the election of their chiefs.
“Attention attention! Next Saturday, August 27, at 2:00 in the afternoon, at the site determined by the street teams in the community, the assemblies, meeting and election of the community chiefs will be held. Everyone is summoned », he said during telephone contact with the Con el Mazo Dando program this Wednesday.
He pointed out that this process of renewal of the base leadership of the PSUV is based on continuing “strengthening, broadening and expanding the path traced by Commander Hugo Chávez.”
“The PSUV with its powerful leadership, of men and women, of young people, is the greatest legacy of our Comandante Chávez, he left it to us and there we are strengthening that legacy,” he said.
More than 46 thousand communities
For his part, the first vice president of this party, Diosdado Cabello, highlighted that the process of electing the promoters was carried out in more than 46,000 communities distributed throughout the national territory, pointing out that this evidences the presence and convening capacity of the PSUV .
He explained that for the upcoming assemblies to be held this Saturday at 2:00 pm, the elected promoters must be the conveners.
