The two pilots of the Cessna 260 plane crashed yesterday in Pastaza were transferred to the Military Hospital in Quito.
The Ecuadorian Army announced, through a statement, that the two occupants of the plane Cessna 260 of the Army Aviation Brigade that crashed on the morning of December 24, 2021 while covering the Shell-Lorocachi Shell (Pastaza), were found alive.
The institution did not give details about the state of health of the two crew, but announced that they were transferred to the Military Hospital of Quito for their evaluation and medical treatment.
The pilots began their journey at 08:45 on December 24 and their objective was to bring supplies to the detachment located in Lorocachi. When the ship did not reach its destination and the crew, an aerial search procedure was initiated, which made it possible to determine that the aircraft it fell about 10 kilometers before reaching its target.
Then, military personnel entered the area to carry out the search and rescue of the occupants of the plane. (LAG)
