Claudia López, mayor of Bogotá, announced that Deyanira Consuelo Ávila Moreno will be the new Secretary of Mobilityand will replace Felipe Ramírez

@SectorMovilidad: transport and infrastructure, planning, pedestrian and bicycle policy over 10 years. Due to merit, she has been promoted and today she reaches the position of Secretary of Mobility. Welcome!” the mayor wrote on her Twitter account.

Ávila will be the third Secretary of Mobility that the Mayor’s Office of López will have, after Nicolás Estupiñán (2020 – 2022), and Felipe Ramírez (2022) also held this position.

Deyanira Ávila is a cadastral and geodesy engineer from the Francisco José de Caldas District University, and a specialist in Urban Environmental Management from the Pilot University of Colombia.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the public sectorwhere she has served as director of Planning for Mobility (e), deputy director of the Bicycle and the Pedestrian and manager of the Bogotá Bicycle.
(The Petro Government endorses the first two lines of the Bogotá Metro).
In addition, he has been deputy manager of Land Management of the Bogotá Metro Company. And, as Movilidad indicates, “she has provided professional services in entities such as the IDU, District Cadastre, the SDM and has taught Tactical Urbanism at the Externado University of Colombia in the Master of Smart Cities.”
