Former President Jeanine Añez wrote a new text from the Miraflores prison, this time alluding to Christmas. In it, he described his confinement as “unfair” and asked “God to bless and protect Bolivia.”

“From my unjust confinement, far from my land and mine, I ask God to bless and protect Bolivia in unity and freedom. This Christmas, I wish each family that the grace of the birth of Jesus will spread much peace, love and health in their homes, “he said.

The ex-president has been incarcerated since March of this year for the case of “coup d’état I” and later her detention was extended by the case of “coup d’état II.”

Carolina Ribera, daughter of former President Jeanine Añez, again denounced the situation in which her mother is in the Miraflores Women’s Orientation Center, accused of the alleged commission of sedition, terrorism and conspiracy.

He pointed out that the ex-president will spend the parties “kidnapped, imprisoned, abused and without due process,” as he stated in an interview on CNN.

“(This) is going to be the first time that my mother has spent Christmas kidnapped, imprisoned, abused and having lost her freedom without due process,” Ribera said.
