A civilian and a military man were sentenced in Amazonas after being found guilty of sexual abuse against minors.
One of those sanctioned is the sergeant of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) Luis José Brito Santana (34), who received a 12-year prison sentence for the crimes of sexual abuse without penetration, according to the sentence issued by the Court 2nd Judgment of Amazonas, Puerto Ayacucho extension.
The situation arose on February 11 in Puerto Ayacucho, the day the victim’s mother went to the Cicpc and reported the incident. The woman told the agents that her daughter had told her that Brito Santana had been looking for her under false pretenses at her maternal grandmother’s house, telling her that her mother had sent for her.
The soldier mounted the young woman on his motorcycle and took her to a park without lights where he began to touch her private parts. Given this situation, Cicpc officials moved to the GNB Command located in Puerto Ayacucho and captured Brito Santana.
The trial against the soldier concluded last Wednesday when he was sentenced to 12 years in prison, which he will serve in the GNB-Puerto Ayacucho command.

That same Amazonian court issued a sentence of 20 years in prison against Jesús Antonio García (30), for his responsibility in sexual violence against a 12-year-old girl, an event that occurred in the Monte Bello sector, Puerto Ayacucho, Amazonas state.
The Public Ministry provided the information through a bulletin where it stated that the victim’s mother reported the incident on March 10 at the Cicpc headquarters. The woman told the officials that her daughter had told her that her aunt’s husband entered her room at dawn that same day, put a knife to her neck and, under threat, took off her underwear. and penetrated her.
Immediately, the officers moved to the house and captured the subject who will serve the sentence at the Cicpc headquarters.
