Two members of the senior staff that controls the organization founded by Jesús Estivenson Estévez (El Zorrito), were killed during a joint operation by the Cicpc and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), according to data obtained from those security agencies.
The confrontation took place this Thursday in El Viñedo, Barcelona (Anzoátegui); precisely in the sector where last July the aforementioned criminal organization attacked a police unit. To counteract the gang’s actions, the cicpc and the PNB launched the so-called Operation Thunder III.
On this occasion, the slain criminals are known by the nicknames of El Ramoncito and El Primo.
In addition, during the operation, seven members of the criminal group were captured from whom they seized two 38 revolvers, a 12 mm caliber shotgun and 82 cartridges of different calibers.
The criminal organization El Zorrito is dedicated to collecting vaccines from merchants in Barcelona and the business of strategic materials stolen from PDVSA, according to investigations.
