The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Gladys María Gutiérrez, presented the report corresponding to the first 100 days of her administration, before the Plenary Chamber of the high court.
In this sense, he explained that in the first 100 days, the TSJ registers a resolution rate of 96.19%, which is equivalent to more than 51,000 matters entered in court, with more than 50,419 sentences and the celebration of 27,003 hearings, according to an institutional press release.
Likewise, in the first days of his administration, he relaunched the Strategic Plan of the Judiciary and reactivated competitions for the entry, promotion and permanence in the judicial function of judges.
Another noteworthy aspect was the appointment of 286 judges at the national level and in different matters, in order to improve the efficiency of judicial management.
Also, numerous days of legal assistance were held in prisons throughout the country, as well as the approach plan for the decongestion of preventive detention centers.
In addition, they created four special commissions to improve efficiency in dealing with judicial matters, these being the Special Commission for Technology and Digitization of Processes, the Special Commission for Culture and Community Development, the Special Commission to Address the Legislative Agenda in Judicial Matters and the TSJ Commission goes to the School.
On the other hand, the institutional alliances of the TSJ with national and international entities also increased. Such is the case of the Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement with the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV), which seeks to promote training activities and professional internships.
