National government assists 5,000 families from the Buenos Aires sector in El Junquito

Gobierno nacional atiende a 5 mil familias en parroquia El Junquito

The Great Mission Barrio Nuevo, Barrio Tricolor rehabilitated 100 homes in the Patria Mía community in the Buenos Aires sector, located in the El Junquito parish, Caracas, benefiting 5,000 families living in the community.

Through the Love in Action Plan for the Victims of the Economic War, the national government carried out a comprehensive day of social care, which benefited the inhabitants of the Buenos Aires sector with the distribution of food, the sale of medicines, activities recreational, cultural and sports, in addition to having service points of the Nevado Mission.

The head of the Government of the Capital District, Nahúm Fernández, explained that, with this rehabilitation, five thousand families were directly assisted.

“Barrio Tricolor carried out the comprehensive rehabilitation of 100 homes and a total of 5,000 families were served directly, through the Social Protection System of the Bolivarian Government,” the head of government wrote on his account on the social network Twitter, @Nahumjfernandez.

While the sectoral vice president for Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado, who was present at the activity, stressed that the Military Community Brigades for Health (Bricomiles) were formed in the community health care center.

Likewise, Fernández announced that popular power will be activated for the recovery of the “Vicente Emilio Sojo” school, which is located in the area. They will also rehabilitate the 22 kilometers of highway between La Yaguara and El Junquito.
