Harrison: “There is still time to decide”

Harrison: "There is still time to decide"

Robert Harrison explained that the affection he receives from the different members of the Paraguayan Football Association has its weight. “We have to understand that the more than 50 teams or clubs that make up the Association work tirelessly for each of their institutions and according to them, because I cannot say that, they have never received the support they received, so that support is what that they express with their feelings”.

“For me it is an honor that they speak in that way about me and above all that they support me, because in the end we did not get to the World Cup and I think that is a very strong blow. Not only did I receive it as president, but Paraguayan soccer has received it,” said Harrison.

The head of the APF stressed that the goal was not to be out of the most important competition in football. “We did not prepare ourselves not to be in the World Cup, we have done everything in our power, but unfortunately the matches are like that and we did not win enough to access the final round of the World Cup. So, that is something that also has its weight and that is why I say that today is still too early to make a decision”.

“We have March, April, February, January, there is still a lot of time, we have to be aware that if we leave we must leave the house in order, work tirelessly for that. It is a decision that we are going to make with the leaders. Everyone who knows me knows how I am and changing position is very difficult, but I cannot deny that there is a weight on top, that has all the support, the one I have from the leaders. So that is why I repeat that there is still something and that is that we have time” he affirmed.
