This Monday, the towns in the south of Santa Fe and the north of Buenos Aires continue to be affected by the fires in the Paraná Delta, which started several weeks ago, and on which Juan Cabandie He has called for greater rigor of justice.
The Minister of Environment and Sustainable Developmenthas extended his complaint to the authorities, and has reiterated on several occasions that it is necessary to take urgent action to find those responsible, since, according to Juan Cabandieconflagrations are provoked.
In this sense, Juan Cabandie He stated this Tuesday: “It would be a forceful measure and, at some point, a form of discipline that Justice summons the owners of the fields” where the burning is carried out, since this measure would serve to “discourage the outbreaks” that have occurred in the area for weeks.
The minister also insisted that the province of “Entre Ríos must hand over the cadastres to prosecutor Claudio Kishimoto and judge Federico Martín” in order to move forward with the investigation and be able to summon the owners of the fields for investigation.
Recently, the head of the environmental portfolio presented, before the justice, the recordings where you can see how the outbreaks begin and the exact location of the land, so, given the strength of the evidence, he demands that progress be made with the process.
This, since as he remarked the minister: “as it does not have the competence of police power, it is the Justice that has to arbitrate the means to be able to determine who are the holders, who are the ones who carry out the burnings”.
Meanwhile, according to the latest portfolio report, at least nine fires remain active, where more than 100 brigade members worksince the fire has destroyed 110,405 hectares.
