The sample of Technopolisdependent on the Ministry of Culture, celebrated this Sunday the million visitors since its reopening less than a month ago, during the last winter holidays, under the motto “Sovereign Argentina, creating futures”.
The million attendees was reached this Sunday with the visit of a family from the city of Resistencia, Chaco, who was received by the authorities, the endearing characters of Zamba and Nina, circus artists from the Park and the Military Band “Combate de San Lorenzo,” reported a statement from the Culture portfolio.
After the act, the ministers of Culture and of Science, Technology and Innovation, Tristan Bauer Y Daniel Filmustogether with the director of Tecnopolis, Mary Rosenfeldttoured different areas of the park, with new proposals such as the presentation, in the new pavilion of the Octahedron, of a mapping display that highlights the importance of the Argentine space industry, “the effort of Argentine work that positions the country globally as one of the references in the world in terms of space technology”.
Then they visited the exhibition “Boundary Identities” that covers the evolutionary and civilizational milestones of humanity through audiovisual resources and reconstructions of objects, houses and old towns, among other attractive proposals.
Lastly, the authorities participated in a broadcast by Radio de Tecnópolis in which they took stock of this new edition.
“We are happy, today a million visitors were completed with a family that came from Chaco and for us it was a great emotion. This reopening of Tecnópolis is something central because we return to the objectives that we had eleven years ago when this park was founded, in which science and technology should have a central role in the construction of an Argentine future,” said Bauer.

“On the other hand, I believe that in the Tecnópolis proposal, where visitor participation and spectacularity have a fundamental feature, they are the facts that define it. It is a place to learn but also to have fun with the family,” added the headline of the Culture portfolio.
“The motto of this year’s exhibition is sovereignty with the future, which has to do with science and technology. We have a stand on space sovereignty and maritime sovereignty, and this has to do with the fact that Argentina is one of the few countries in the world that it may have its own satellites. What we want, together with Tristán, is for there to be many scientific vocations,” said Minister Filmus.
“If Technopolis allows there to be children who approach sciencethrough experimentation, work and the possibility of doing tasks that allow them to understand what chemistry, physics, biotechnology, nanotechnology and the space race are, we already met the goalFilmus added.
For her part, the director of the Park, María Rosenfeldt, expressed: “The task of Tecnópolis is to open imaginaries and possibilities by bringing knowledge closer in a playful way, entertaining, in which we learn without realizing it, touring the park. It is also a great platform for everything we are capable of doing, for all our potential, and also to recover our memory, our history, our common past and also project ourselves into the future”.
“Seeing so many families excites us and every week we are recovering Tecnópolis and putting a new imprint on it, with new content,” added the official.
In its eleventh edition, “Tecnópolis recovered its popular and massive spirit, with the participation of thousands of families and schools from all over the country, who every week enjoy the more than 70 interactive spaces, which invite them to live experiences to learn about art, science, technology, productive development, energy, gender, environment and sustainability, among other topics,” said the statement from the Ministry of Culture.

Likewise, on the weekend of Sunday 21 there will be special activities to celebrate Children’s Day with the family, in addition to the already traditional ones, such as Land of Dinos, the Amazing Park of Zamba and Nina, The Space Academy, and the exhibition tribute to María Elena Walsh, to which “Arrorró” is added, a new sensory space for play and discovery, for children from 0 to 3 years old to enjoy, together with their families.
The Park is open to the public until October 23, on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the novelty of the return of schools; and from 12 noon to 7 p.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and Monday holidays, such as this August 15, in which activities related to the commemoration of a new anniversary of the death of General San Martín will be carried out.
Admission is free and free, without prior reservation, and the entrance to the property, which has a total of 54 hectares, is through Juan B. de la Salle street 4341.
