Major Julio Álvaro Muñoz Mejía, head of the Intelligence and Special Operations Group (GIOE) of the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking (Felcn), was present and watched the delivery of weapons to kill his comrades in the Porongo areaon the way to Los Cuchis, on June 21.

Forceful official revelations are part of the indictment filed by prosecutors Luis Alfredo Alba Flores and Marcos Arce, based on the statements of protected witnesses.

Major Muñoz was apprehended, charged as an accomplice and participant before the judge of La Guardia, Rodrigo Vedia, and the tax commission requested six months detention in jail from Palmasol.

The Prosecutor’s Office and the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) conclude that Muñoz, not only witnessed the delivery of weapons in the workshop of the accused as the main person responsible, Misael Nallar, but also hid information about the truth of the events that ended with the murder of their litters, police officers Eustaquio Olano, Alfonso Chávez Flores and José David Candia Orozco on June 21 in the municipality of Porongo on the road to Los Cuchis.

In the outstanding parts, the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office indicates that due to the background information available, Major Julio Álvaro Muñoz Mejía would be accomplice in the crime of murder, and despite the fact that he himself is policeman with the rank of major, witnessed the delivery of firearmsidentified vests and others from the Special Force to Fight Drug Trafficking, Felcn.

In addition, he would have seen how they left in the white Toyota Rush van, learned of the murder perpetrated by Misael Nallar Viveros, along with Widen Nallar, Édgar Dorado Menacho nicknamed ‘Boss’, Jassier Góngora Montero and others such as the lawyer Rodrigo Gonzáles Arrázola, Esteban Beltrán Muñoz, against police officers Eustaquio Olano, Alfonso Chávez Flores and José David Candia Orozco, on June 21 in the municipality of Porongo.
