A house located in Tía Juana (Zulia) was raided by military personnel who located 10,400 seeds of the plant from which marijuana is extracted, according to reports.
The raid was carried out by members of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) who arrested Jhoxan Josué Mendoza Ortiz, owner of the house where they also located three marijuana plants, a digital weight and an artisanal mill, their own clothing for cultivation, processing and drug distribution, as investigated.
Mendoza Ortiz was charged with illicit drug trafficking.
Captured three subjects for violating security zones
In another procedure, members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrested three individuals accused of violating that security zone in the vicinity of the Bajo Grande Oil Complex, San Francisco municipality, Zulia, according to military reports.
In the procedure, the military seized a fishing boat, a motorized pump, a plastic container with a capacity for twenty liters of gasoline, a shears, a hacksaw and a life preserver.
The detainees are: Henry Daniel Barboza Mavarez, Carlos Enrique Cañizalez Mejías and Ángel Enrique Soto González, members of the Structured Group of Organized Crime Los Piratas del Lago, who were dedicated to robbery and theft in companies located on the shores of Lake Maracaibo.
Subjects will be prosecuted for theft and security zone violation.
