Commissioned by Sarita Mansilla and Viviana Akamine, the Municipal Department of Culture called on Piraí Vaca to create a course aimed at instructors, that is, guitar teachers in Santa Cruz.
“Working on the idea with them, we came to the conclusion of summoning eight guitar teachers from different schools, to participate in a three-week course, on Saturday and SundayPirai said.
Each of these eight participants will receive three classes, plus two dress rehearsals, which together add up to five hours of training per person. “We choose trainers because it is the best way for the seed to spread.a, in such a way that all this that I have accumulated in 30 years is passed on to people who, in turn, expand this knowledge. Is about improve the level of guitar in Santa Cruz, improving the trainers“, he added.
The classes for the trainers will be open to the amateur or curious public. Anyone can witness those 24 hours of work with the eight trainersprior registration in a link available on the social networks of Piraí Vaca. The courses will be at El Altillo Museum on Beni Street
The closing and also examination of everything learned will be a concert on September 8, in which the trained trainers will perform, and Piraí will appear at the end.
To the teacher too six pieces of music from Santa Cruz were commissioned, six arrangements for solo guitarsomething that he enjoys very much and to which he has dedicated himself in recent times, “and that is something very necessary, especially with music from Santa Cruz,” he says.
Previously, several months ago, the Ministry of Culture commissioned the composition of three pieces from Santa Cruz to Piraí, the same ones that he took on tour in his presentation rock in the blood. “I was very surprised how in the Andes and in the valleys they have been one of the most applauded pieces. Given this success, we have decided to create six more pieces,” he said.
The teacher hopes that this project will have continuity and that it be done twice a year. He encouraged those who want to be listeners to sign up, since there is still time. Classes started this weekend, will continue on August 20-21, and finally 26-27.
