Robert Silva announced on Friday the start of the PISA tests in Uruguay, with the slogan “Put on the light blue!”

The president of the Central Board of Directors (Codicen) of the National Administration of Public Education (ANEP), Rober Silva, announced the start of the PISA tests with a poster that generated controversy and criticism in the Broad Front and among the unions.
The poster associates the evaluation instance with soccer and calls on the students to “wear the light blue”.
As of Monday, August 15, the PISA tests begin in Uruguay.

Pablo Caggiani, leader of the Broad Front and former director of Primary in the last government, wrote on his personal Twitter account: “The worst use of evaluation in education. Tests will begin Monday August 15 and end in September. PISA is an international test whose mission is to assess whether what the student has learned up to that day is useful for solving new situations that they have to face.
