More than 6,000 Venezuelans deported from the United States would arrive in Colombia

Within the framework of international cooperation and support plans for migrants in the region, to Colombia would arrive between January and February more than 6,000 citizens Venezuelans deported from the United States.

This was confirmed by sources from the Government consulted by Caracol Radio who assured that this is part of an agreement signed between the Chancellor and Vice President, Marta Lucía Ramírez and the North American government.

According to the same sources, a memorandum of understanding was signed on the matter with the United States, so that from that country resources will continue to be disbursed to provide support to the population displaced by the dictatorship of the Nicolás Maduro regime.

Meanwhile, Colombia will receive these people who initially and according to the information obtained would arrive between January and February 2022. Instructions have already been given to the entities involved for the reception of this population that will arrive on flights from North America.
