Concepción will host the new Regional Entrepreneurship and Innovation Meeting, EtMday 2022, which for the first time arrives in the capital of Bío Bío. This meeting for entrepreneurs will take place at the University of Concepción on October 5 and 6, and registration, completely free, is now open at etmday.org.
The EtMday is the largest meeting in the country to connect entrepreneurs with companies, investors, corporate leaders and businessmen in the same place, which will be held for the first time in Concepción, where it is expected to gather thousands of people, in search of new businesses and innovative proposals. The event is configured as a great and unprecedented party with networking activities to generate new and better business opportunities for both.
Recently, the Etmday Antofagasta took place, bringing together 1,450 attendees, who participated in 568 1-to-1 connections between unlikely pairs (entrepreneurs with managers, entrepreneurs, mentors and investors), through Contact Roundtables, where 53% were successful and there was MATCH, that is, the parties will maintain contact through EtMmeet.
There were also 21 activities between talks, panels and practical workshops by 45 speakers on topics such as: Creation of Disruptive Startups, Digital Transformation, Training and Mentoring for Entrepreneurs, Women’s Innovation, Intellectual Property, Business Sustainability, Innovation in the Miera Industry, E-commerce, among others, in a space where there were also 35 stands of enterprises and startups from all over Chile, exhibiting their projects.
The main objective of these events is to “level the playing field”, connecting the “unlikely pairs” for the entire ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation, in a space of connection with the most important companies that will be looking for proposals to invest, promote or support, and thus equalize the opportunities, approaching the development of a more equitable and sustainable economy, supporting the growth of the ecosystem, in the transformation process that they require in the face of the current downturn that affects the country and Latam.
