This Wednesday, the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, highlighted the work of the media in favor of the return of the Venezuelan plane seized, along with its crew, in Argentina by unilateral order of the United States government.
The information was made known by the head of the Transportation portfolio through the publication of a video on the social network Twitter @rvaraguayan, in which he stated: We are sure that the Argentine people support our fight for the recovery of the plane and the kidnapped Venezuelan crew. There are many media outlets that join our cause.”
Likewise, the minister specified that it is an irregular action, given that the aircraft has all its documents in order. “The 19 crew members of the plane were forced to remain in Argentina, without any legal justification to strip them of their passports,” indicates part of the shared audiovisual.
It should be remembered that a court in the state of Florida, in the United States, asked the Argentine justice last week to seize Emtrasur’s Boeing 747 aircraft, arguing that the laws were “violated” when it was sold by the sanctioned Iranian airline Mahan Air. to Venezuela.
Meanwhile, the crew detained for two months in Argentine territory is accused of espionage and terrorism, although no evidence has been found so far to support that accusation.
