A man is shot to death hours after being released from prison in Santiago

Santiago.- Presumably he had given himself a haircut, he was visiting relatives and friends whom he did not see because he was imprisoned for homicide and other acts contrary to the law, but suddenly death surprised him.

Just hours after being released from prison after serving five years, 27-year-old Diorys Vásquez Martínez was shot to death. A reckoning is the hypothesis that at the moment is handled on the crime.

The men who took his life were traveling in a vehicle, according to versions collected in the La Yagüita de Pastor sector. He was murdered from behind on Wednesday night at pedestrian number two on Calle 2, in front of a Community Center in the aforementioned sector located in the southern part of Santiago.

The versions also indicate that two other people were injured in the shooting and that the attackers immediately fled. The injured were transferred to different health centers in the city. His state of health is unknown.

It was reported in the neighborhood that Diorys was in prison for having killed a person in the same sector and for illegal possession of a firearm.

The body of Diorys Vásquez was deposited in the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif), for the corresponding purposes ordered by law.
