The Government Spokesperson Minister, Camila Vallejovalued this Thursday the agreement reached by the ruling parties, which contains proposals to reform the new Constitution, in case it is approved in the plebiscite on September 4.
“The Government and the President of the Republic have called for the unity of their coalitions, in joint work, in dialogue,” said the Secretary of State at a press point, as part of her visit to Talca, region of the Maule, slogan Radio Bio Bio.
“Obviously, the fact that an agreement can be reached to establish certainties of the route that we are going to follow also from Congress, to win the Approval in the exit plebiscite, is very important and by the way we value it”, he added.
Let us remember that the government parties presented this Thursday the proposal with modifications to the new Magna Carta.
The agreement contemplates a series of modifications, such as the scope of the indigenous consultation; limitations to indigenous justice; establish the State of Emergency; eliminate the election of the President, or change the name Justice Systems to Judicial Power.
The pact was signed by the helmsmen of the PPD, Natalia Piergentili; the Liberal Party, Patrick Morales; of Humanist Action, Thomas Hirsch; of the Socialist Party, Paulina Vodanović; of the Radical Party, Leonard Cubillos; of Democratic Revolution, John Ignatius Latorre; of the Social Green Regionalist Federation, Flavia Torrealba; of the Communist Party, William Teillier; of Commons, Mark Velarde.
The agreement also had the signatures of the deputy Lorraine Frieson behalf of the UNIR Movement, and the deputy Diego Ibanezrepresenting Social Convergence.
