Autopsy of woman found dead with her partner who was asleep reveals heart attack

Relatives of the man indicated that they found the deceased on the floor, while Teodoro slept soundly in bed. Both, relatives told police, had started drinking beer late Wednesday night.

The intervening prosecutor, Mirtha Ortiz, ordered an autopsy to be carried out in the morgue of the Judicial Branch. The result was released in the afternoon, and gave as a forensic opinion that Norma’s death was the result of a heart attack.

Despite the probable ruling out of femicide that derives from death by heart attack, prosecutor Ortiz left for now, the performance of new procedures to completely discard the hypothesis of the crime.
