The communal chief of Salto insisted that inquiring that things “have been done correctly” is “healthy and good”

The mayor of Salto and Frente Amplsita leader, Andrés Lima, affirmed that “investigation is always good” in reference to the case of opposition senator Charles Carrera.
“If there are responsibilities, they have to be known, they have to be made public. Those of us who are in these places are aware that we have to answer for our successes and mistakes,” said the community leader on radio 970 Universal.
Thus, he indicated that the investigate “it is good to the extent that things work” or “have been done correctly”. In this sense, he insisted that “it is healthy and good” that the requested information is not only available to those who request it “but to the entire community.”
However, he concluded that The best thing is to let the Justice investigate all the information “and get where it has to go.”
Carrera was accused of alleged cover-up in a case of a stray bullet that he injured a man in Rocha 10 years ago; nevertheless, he targeted the current Minister of the Interior, Luis Alberto Heberand expressed that he points it out “without support and in a criminal complaint” that tries to “delegitimize” his actions and “affect” his public image.
From the FA, general support was expressed towards the former director general of the Secretariat in the portfolio, including the intendants Carolina Cosse and Yamandu Orsi.
