Fernández: The increase for retirees seeks "protect and accompany" to those most in need

The head of state expressed himself on his Twitter account.

President Alberto Fernandezhighlighted that the 15.53% increase in retirement, announced this Wednesday afternoon by Economy Minister Sergio Massaseeks to “protect and accompany those who need it most”.

No pension will be below $50,000. We have granted an increase of 15.53% for all retirement benefits, pensions and allowances, which will begin to be paid in September. The measure reaches more than 16 million Argentines and Argentines, “Fernández wrote on his Twitter account.

“It will be of $7,000 for those who receive up to 1 minimum pension and it will progressively decrease for those who receive up to 2″, said the Head of State.

The president stressed that “with these measures, the minimum retirement will increase 73.3% so far in 20227.9% above inflation”.

“We continue to fulfill our pensioners and retirees. It is what we promised: to protect and accompany those who need it most”he concluded.

The minimum retirement will go from $37,525 to $50,353, and for those who receive up to 2 minimum pensions, it will go from $75,050 to $90,705. In addition, the Universal Child Allowance and the Pregnancy Allowance will increase to $8,471.

This is the seventh increase granted through Mobility Law 27,609 and the third in 2022.

The measure had been anticipated last Wednesday by Massa himself when he assumed the Economy portfolio.
