The Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE) reported that a total of 33 political parties, eight political movements and an electoral agreement were recognized for the upcoming elections.
The Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE) reported that a total of 33 political parties, 8 political movements and an electoral agreement were recognized to participate in the next presidential elections. Thus, some 151 internal movements of the political groups were also enabled for their internal ones, scheduled for December 18.
Christian Ruiz Díaz, director of political financing of the TSJE, affirmed that the law and the Electoral Schedule were respected. “We are zealous in meeting the deadlines in a timely manner, so that they are closed stage by stage at the time of compliance with each procedure established in that resolution that is 108/2021,” he commented.
He reported that this Thursday, August 4, as established by the Political Financing Law, they have communicated about the Resolution of the TSJE No. 56/2022 to the Superintendency of Banks, so that the Superintendence can inform all the banking entities of square and from there they will proceed to notify the Directorate of Political Parties of the TSJE and post it on the institutional website in such a way that all citizens can have access to this document.
“TSJE Resolution No. 56/2022 was issued on Wednesday, August 3, so the term defined by Law No. 6,501/2020 was met. Once the internal movements are recognized by the Electoral Tribunals of the political organizations, they will communicate it to the Electoral Tribunal”, he explained.

The ANR will have 29 internal movements for the next internal ones; the main ones are “Fuerza Republica” by Hugo Velázquez and “Honor Colorado” by Horacio Cartes. The PLRA has 39 internal movements among which stand out; “FIL Liberal Integration Front” by Efraín Alegre, “Team Youth Paraguay” by Blas Llano and “Blue Dialogue” by Dionisio Amarilla.
