The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, denounced this Tuesday that the Argentine government is kneeling before the designs of the United States, an assertion he made when receiving thousands of Venezuelans who marched in Caracas against the kidnapping of national assets. .
“Don’t let them come to us with lies, it was a vulgar kidnapping. We want our compatriots back who are held in Argentina without any excuse », he said in relation to the crew of the Boeing 747 aircraft belonging to the company Emtrasura subsidiary of Conviasa, which has been held in that country since last June.
He noted that this crime is added to the hundreds committed by the United States against the country.
“Venezuela has suffered the worst aggression in 150 years since Chavez He came here to save the people that no one took into account. They have gone against the sick, against the children of the country, taking away the possibility of acquiring supplies », he said.
He added, “let the agents of the empires know, here there is a river of people who rise up against the sanctions, the blockade and the sanctions against Conviasa. Despite the blockade and the sanctions, Conviasa is the best line in the entire continent, that is what hurts and burns them », he said.
Similarly, Rodríguez referred to the kidnapping of diplomat Alex Saab as yet another aggression against the country.
“We want Alex Saab back, President Maduro, asked to exhaust diplomatic channels and legal, but we are already clear that this is not the way, the way is for the people to go to the streets to freely ask for their rights,” he said.
He recalled that a Venezuelan commission is going to talk to the people of Argentina to demand the return of the plane and ask for the support of social movements.
