The call to room under the general commission regime that had been processed this Monday in the Chamber of Deputies regarding the cross complaints about management problems at the National Institute for Adolescent Social Inclusion (Inisa) should have been interrupted in a surprise manner.
This is how it was when, around five in the afternoon and after almost seven hours of session, the president of the organization, Rosanna De Olivera, announced a “situation” that at that time was happening in some dependencies of the institution.
On the one hand, a young man was wounded with a stab in the leg in the Centro MD (Ex Ser) of Colonia Berro. It was at the hands of two other inmates, “it is not known whether with tips or scissors,” that after the event they decided to riot. According to De Olivera, at the time of the announcement the police were preparing to intervene.
Meanwhile, another young man He was referred to the Colonia Etchepare with security measures, and managed to escape, despite being in shackles, in police custody and under the supervision of a caregiver.
The situation led to a brief intermission in the Deputies, in which delegates from all the benches decided to close the session. The proposal came from the nationalist deputy Álvaro Viviano on the grounds that it would be extremely difficult for the Inisa authorities to follow the session under these conditions.
The Minister of Social Development, Martín Lema, was also summoned to the request.
