COVID-19: Mexico reports 2,500 cases and 22 deaths in 24 hours

Since the beginning of the pandemic and until today, 6,859,970 cases and 328,342 deaths have been confirmed in Mexico.

In the last five weeks, most of the cases are present in the groups of 18 to 29 years, followed by the group of 30 to 39 years and 40 to 49 years.

As of today’s information cutoff, there are 90,638 active cases registered, that is, those that presented symptoms in the last 14 days.

The distribution by sex in confirmed cases shows a predominance in women of 53.1%.

The entities with the most accumulated confirmed cases are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Tabasco, Puebla and Sonora, which together make up 64% of all accumulated cases registered in Mexico. the country.

Regarding confirmed deaths, the distribution by sex shows a predominance of 62% in men. The SSa stated that there are 13,950 deaths suspected of COVID-19, including those pending by laboratory and those in the process of epidemiological association.
