Six people were injured after a collective unit overturned on the Yagua-San Diego bypass in Carabobo state.
The van belonging to the Vencedores de Barbula cooperative covered the Naguanagua-Guacara route.
According to the official version of the Carabobo Fire Department, the event occurred at approximately 6:26 am on Monday, when a possible mechanical problem caused the bus to hit the lower part of the mountain adjacent to the highway.
Of the 16 passengers, six were injured, including a woman who was 24 weeks pregnant.
Officials from Civil Protection, the Bolivarian National Police and Carabobo Firefighters attended the scene.
The injured were transferred to the emergency room of the Ciudad Hospitalaria Dr. Enrique Tejera in Valencia and the Miguel Malpica hospital in Guacara.
