On the morning of August 8, a traffic accident was recorded in the province of Coclé, leaving one person dead, which brings the figure to 17 deaths from traffic accidents so far this year in this area of ​​the country. .

The events were recorded specifically on the Pan-American highway near the Rio Hato airport where the young man, who worked in an electrical system repair company, was hit by a vehicle that was also involved in a collision.

According to the first reports, the man was preparing to start his working hours together with other colleagues, but the driver of the vehicle that was traveling on the Inter-American highway lost control, running over the young man who unfortunately died, and then collided with another vehicle.

Major Erick Rodríguez, in charge of the traffic operations directorate of the Coclé province, highlighted that the accident occurred at 8:30 in the morning and he died at the accident site, there was also an injured person there, who was transferred to the nearest medical center.
