The general undersecretary of the Electoral Tribunal (TE), Yanizelly Ariza, referred this Monday to the start of the collection of signatures for the pre-candidates for the free application, revealing that the entity has five mechanisms to do this collection.

He mentioned that among these, the collection of signatures for books is the mechanism that will be used in areas of difficult access due to connectivity problems.

Ariza explained that the collection of signatures begins on August 15 and ends on July 31, 2023 at noon. It is a campaign without propaganda.

It should be noted that the entity carries out the review of the applications from August 1 to 14 to verify that the candidates meet all the requirements, then the name of the members of the payroll will be published in the Electoral Bulletin, for two days, for purposes of possible challenges as provided in article 369.
