The latest official news published by Prensa Latina and other state media, reports that this Sunday the Cuban ruler Miguel Díaz-Canel met with the relatives of the disappeared.

According to the newspaper GironAt the meeting, the Cuban leader explained that he was working “hard” to clarify the situation of the missing persons as soon as possible, but that, in any case, it was impossible to access the scene of the incident due to the high temperatures.
“Everything seems to indicate that today the fire in the first tank is going to be put out to advance to the second and then enter,” the president told the relatives of the disappeared, this Sunday.
He also assured that “as soon as the information is available” it will be communicated and lamented the circumstance “so difficult that it hurts all Cubans.”
No other details of the meeting were released. The identity of the disappeared remains unknown.
