The British publication The Banker has selected BBVA as the best digital bank in its Innovation in Digital Banking Awards

The digitalization strategy of the financial institution has proven to be a great advantage against the challenging scenario in which the bank’s customers increasingly use online channels. In fact, the Group’s digital customers have grown by 36% in the last
two years and total 43.6 million, 70% of all customers in the world. Digitization allows the bank to be more efficient and, above all, provide customers with comfortable, simple and accessible channels so that they can interact with BBVA when and how it suits them best.
A strategy that is showing good results and that convinces specialized media such as The Banker, which has chosen BBVA as the best digital bank in Latin America and Europe in its Innovation in Digital Banking Awards. These awards recognize most innovative banks around the world for digital projects that demonstrate innovation, usefulness and transformation. The publication highlights that “BBVA has placed at the center of its digital and transformation strategy the priority of improving the financial health of its clients, both individuals and companies, to help them in their transition towards a more sustainable economy”.
