New part of coronavirus in Argentina: new infections fell by 20% this week

For the first time in five weeks, new cases of coronavirus in Argentina they fell. According to data from the Ministry of Health of the Nation, between Monday and Sunday a total of 42,227 new infections were registeredwhich translates into a 20% drop compared to the previous week, when 52,745 cases were reported.

In its last epidemiological part, the health portfolio also reported that the number of deaths from coronavirus this week decreased by 22% compared to last Sunday, when the death of 91 people was confirmed due to the illness in all the country.

Since the virus arrived in the country, a total of 9,602,534 infections and 129,440 deaths have been recorded.

In the first week of August, 71 deaths from coronavirus in all the country, most of them in the Province of Buenos Aires, with 21 deaths. Meanwhile, in the rest of the jurisdictions, deaths did not exceed double digits.
