A total of 121 new infections with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 They were confirmed this Saturday in Cuba after carrying out 2,556 tests to detect the disease.

Regarding the new cases, the health authorities explained that 10 patients were asymptomatic, while by sex 68 were female and 53 male.
By age groups, the distribution was as follows: under 20 years of age (58), from 20 to 39 years of age (22), from 40 to 59 years of age (15) and 60 years and over (26). Santiago de Cuba, with 26 cases, and Holguín, with 23, were the most affected provinces.
According to the MINSAP, the country has already accumulated 1,108,827 confirmed patients with the disease throughout the pandemic and 1,099,770 recovered people, which represents 99.2% of the total. The official death toll remains at 8,529, for a lethality rate of 0.77%.
