A vessel linked to international drug trafficking was located and seized at the Navimca Shipyard located in Cumaná (Sucre), military sources said. The procedure was carried out by members of the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit No. 53.
At the site, the military located the fishing boat docked for approximately three months, named Poseidon, registration AGSI-PE-0349.
The aforementioned vessel is linked to 665 kilos of cocaine that were seized on the island of Martinique on January 29.
Inside the boat, the military collected a laminated identity card belonging to Jhondry Manuel Vásquez Fernández, who is requested by the 5th Criminal Court of Control of Sucre, according to official letter No. RP11-P-2022-000116 for the crimes of illicit trafficking. of narcotic and psychotropic substances in the modality of concealment and association to commit a crime.
The vessel is in charge of Cesar Marchan, who has false location records in the aforementioned shipyard.
The Public Ministry was notified of the procedure.
