The National Board of Justice (JNJ), titled by Luz Inés Tello, reported that the registration to participate in the public contest of judges and prosecutors of different hierarchies and specialties will expire next Friday, January 14, 2022.
As it is recalled, on December 15, registrations began to participate in this process that aims to elect 222 judges and prosecutors in order to face the high rate of provisionality of magistrates.
In this way, the contests contemplate the modality of open access and promotion. In the case of the Judiciary, it was approved to open six positions for supreme judges, 32 for superior judges, 48 for specialized and mixed judges, and 12 for legal justices of the peace.
Likewise, in the prosecution there are two positions for supreme prosecutors, six for senior prosecutors, 40 for senior deputy prosecutors and provincial prosecutors, and 76 for provincial deputy prosecutors.
In accordance with the respective schedules, “the new supreme magistrates will be sworn in at the end of the first semester of 2022, while those of lower hierarchy, in the remaining months”.
It should be noted that all contests have four eliminatory stages, each with a minimum passing score of 66.66 points out of 100. In addition, they contemplate a period in which the public is empowered to file strikeouts or submit complaints to applicants.
Upon payment of the processing fee, applicants may register through the extranet of the National Board of Justice.
